31 Week Ultrasound Pics!

We had an ultrasound last week and Baby weighs in at 3lbs, 3oz! She is getting some chub on her! Things are looking good so far! The farthest we've made it pregnant is 32 weeks, so we are almost there (will be there on Friday) and are really looking forward to passing that mark! We are going all the way!!!

Here's a shot looking straight at her nose and lips. Makes Mama wanna kiss those lips! Her foot is just a little over 2 inches long! Notice that her second toe is longer than her big toe!
And you can see the back of her head here (her skull) and then the fuzzy white lines are HAIR!!! The ultrasound tech would wiggle my stomach and her hair would swish around in the water!

Lesson Learned, Ask Before You Smell!

Saturday Kermit was in the bathroom and Mama could see him washing his hands. He came out and had a discouraged look on his face and said, "I've got a problem." So I asked him what was wrong. He came up to me and stuck his hand up to my nose and said, "Smell." In that 1 second I had to think about smelling his hand I decided it was okay because he'd just washed his hands, how bad could it be. Perhaps he didn't like the smell of the 'pink' soap that's in there. So I took a smell. And then I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit! It smelt like poop! And this is how the conversation went.

Mama: "What is on your hand?!!!"
Kermit: "Well, I got poop on my hand and I've been trying to wash it off and it won't get off."
Mama: "Did you try soap?"
Kermit: "No, I thought I could just wash it off and it won't come off."
Mama: "Try soap!!!"

So off he went and would you believe that soap can take off the stink on your hand!

Master Chief sat on the couch on the other side of the room and by the time I dared to look at him I thought he was going to pee his pants he was laughing so hard! Next time Kermit needs to go ask Daddy to smell his hands!

A princess by day.... still a princess by night!

Miss Piggy got the most fantastic dress up clothes from Grandma, Papa and Uncle Skino for Christmas. She's such a princess that it's the perfect gift for her! She goes in shifts with wearing them though, and lately it's been a busy time for these clothes!

So last night Master Chief and I were getting ready for bed and part of Mama's bedtime routine is to go in and check on the kids to make sure they are covered up and stuff, you know the normal mommy checks at night! It had been very quiet for a while and I was sure the kids were sound asleep.

When the kids went to bed, they were in normal pj's. Miss Piggy was wearing a Christmas nightgown with a pretty bow she brought to my attention last night. As I went in to check on them at 10:10pm, Miss Piggy's head popped up and she just smiled. But guess what she was wearing??!??! You guessed it, one of her princess dresses. She said she needed to be a princess at night, too. And of course, like any good parent, I got her up and made her take a picture!
What could we say, she was so cute we had to let her sleep in her dress... I mean what kinda of sleepwear do princesses wear? Obviously not pretty Christmas nightgowns with a silver bow on it!

Miss Piggy and Mama are 29 Weeks

So here you go... in all my 29 week glory! Things are going good this week!

And the picture in my last post was taken this same day. As I was prepping this post, Miss Piggy infomed me that she was showing off her belly like I was! Good thing she wasn't insisting on being pregnant... AGAIN.

Just like a married couple or just plain brother and sister?

Tonight we were at Walmart getting some paint and wall stickers for Kermit's new bedroom. Mama and Master Chiefs hands were full and Miss Piggy insisted on holding a hand. So she held Kermits. They walked around the store holding hands and it was so cute!

Then we were eating pizza for dinner and Miss Piggy doesn't eat the "spicies" (pepperoni) on her pizza and she always picks them off and gives them to Kermit. Mama sat back and thought how cute it was, how they are such good friends and then it hit her... they act like a married couple!

They argue over who gets to do what. For example, who gets to put the bowls/plates/cups away and who gets to put the silverware away. By the way, the silverware is the not fun job around here. If you do the bowls/plates/cups you get to stand on the counter and that is so cool. Kermit tells Miss Piggy to "eat your dinner", "don't talk like a baby", and "get back in bed". Miss Piggy tells Kermit to "get your shoes on", "drink your milk", "and "give me a piggy back ride".

If Miss Piggy doesn't like her dinner, Kermit offers to eat it. If Miss Piggy needs her bed made, she asks Kermit to do it, and he does! If Kermit wants to go out and ride his bike, he tells Miss Piggy "they" are going out to play, so "come on"! If Kermit wants to watch Spongebob, he grabs the remote and changes it to Spongebob.

I swear, they are married!

Or is it just a fantastic set of siblings? They are the best of friends. They don't do anything different from each other very often. The most they fight over is what movie to watch. Kermit likes to call Miss Piggy "mom" when they are playing and if Mama trys to answer, she gets told "you're not the mommy right now". Miss Piggy constantly tells Kermit "That's a great idea!" to anything he comes up with. Kermit will often tell Miss Piggy how pretty she is. They are so wonderful!!!
And here's an extremely silly picture of them taken yesterday. Kermit LOVES his orange hat. He thought he was a cowboy here with snow boots and this hat. Whatever! Miss Piggy was just along for the picture we think!
