Daddy Daughter Date Night!

Miss Piggy asked her Daddy out on a date! There was a dinner and dance this last weekend and Miss Piggy was so excited about it! Truth be told, Master Chief was excited too! Master Chief got Miss Piggy a corsage to match her dress!A kiss for a special Daddy!That night they went to dinner at a church that was sponsoring the Boys and Girls club. They ate pasta and cookies! Then they went off to the dance. They were a bit early, so Master Chief set Miss Piggy on his lap and let her drive in the parking lot!!! Once they got into the dance, they got their picture taken, faces painted and then it was time to dance!!!

The local Newspaper was there taking pictures and this picture made it up on their website! Looks like both Miss Piggy and Master Chief were having a great time.


Miss Piggy won a prize and was the very first to win a prize that night for her awesome dance moves. She won a cute stuffed bunny! Later she won a necklace for being inside a hoola hoop when the music stopped.

What a great memory for both Daddy and Daughter!

Happy 34th Birthday, Master Chief!

This week we celebrated our Daddy's 34th Birthday!!! Here are 34 things about our dad.
1- He likes to tease
2- He loves to listen to music
3- He sings in the shower

5- He loves to play X Box (suprise there, huh!)
6- He prefers Mayo over Miracle Whip
7- He loves to fish
8- He wishes he could hunt more

10- He likes to get the mail like Mama does, and he'll race her to the mailbox

14- His dream is to design something and get a patent

17- He has a firm testimony of our Savior
18- He has a soft spot in his heart for his girls

20- There isn't much in the way of food that he doesn't like
21- He doesn't like breakfast for dinner

23- He likes to take things apart and fix them, especially electronics
24- He is working very hard to earn a 2nd degree in Engineering

28- He loves to just play with his kids, soccer in the street, games at the table, takes them to the movies

I could go on and on! Master Chief is the most amazing man. He is the world's best father, most supportive husband and a dedicated worker. We love him with all our hearts and are so thankful to have him as our Dad.

Master Chief - The Fisherman!

Master Chief is about to celebrate a birthday. He got his present early!!! He invited his dad and some friends out to a canyon a few hours away from here, hired a boat, and went steelhead fishing. In years past he's not been extremely successful. (read between they lines, he didn't get much) This year was totally different. They pulled in several HUGE cat fish and quite a few nice steelhead. Between him and his dad, they brought home 4 cats and 2 steelheads, leaving several back at the river. Way to go!!!!

Lol, Note to our readers

Master Chief loves to tease Mama. Mama's very least favorite song is "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. He sings it with a 'hairy' voice and it drives Mama nuts to no end. So one day while Mama and Baby Girl were out shopping Master Chief calls Mama up and says, "Hey, what's your password to the mix pod?" Mama gave it to him. Master Chief loves to put the kids favorite music on our blog, so Mama thought nothing of it. So she gets home from shopping and finds Master Chief, Kermit and Miss Piggy listening to our blog music. The song ended and the next one began... "I see skies of blue..." WHAT!!! "Red roses too" GAG, clear your voice!!! "And I think to myself, what a wonderful world". GAG
