Kermit and Miss Piggy... 1st Grade Here They Come!!!

Kermit and Miss Piggy are officially Kindergarten graduates! They had the most fantastic year with 2 wonderful teachers. Their first teacher went on maternity leave toward the end of the year and they were blessed with another wonderful teacher as her substitute. Kermit and Miss Piggy truly graduated at the top of their class. No, really! Mama went in and helped out each week and tested all the kids. They were among the top 4 kids in their class. They are very ready for 1st grade, excited to attend every day, and get their very own desk! We are looking forward to a fantastic summer!!!Kermit and Miss Piggy with their teacher who came back for the last week! Miss Piggy with her best friend in class.Kermit and his best friend in class. These two boys are also known as the class clowns. And here are our two graduates! They've helped each other out throughout the entire year, kept each other in line, and created memories that will last their entire lives!!!

Baby Girl Turns 2

A week or so ago Baby Girl celebrated her 2nd birthday. She's such a big girl now, but she'll always be our baby, lol! We went to a place called Bounce with Gram-Gram, Mama's cousins and each of the kids got to invite one friend. We all had a great time!

Baby Girl is 22 lbs 15 oz, which is the 10%, which is HUGE for our family!!!

She is 33 1/4in for height, which is 27%, which is another HUGE for our family!!!

Baby Girl thinks she's as old as Kermit and Miss Piggy though. She has to be involved in whatever they are doing and she is never to little for their big activities. She now has a scooter to ride with the big kids and thinks she's pretty hot stuff out there!

Baby Girl is very picky about which fork/spoon she eats with. She loves to color, play with babies and ponies, she loves to play outside, and she loves all things Tinkerbell!

Baby Girl is putting 4 word sentences together, which is awesome since the dr told us she should be putting 2 words together. She is good to tell you... "I sorry Mommy", "thank you" (sounds like tank you), "I love you", "Mommy, I do it", and many more things. She called Kermit "Son" and it makes everyone laugh when she does.

Baby Girl loves to get her hair done and have her teeth brushed. However the first thing she does in the car is take her shoes and socks off, then pull out the hair Mama just put in place. Mama now carries rubber bands and a comb in her purse every where we go.

Baby Girl is such a sweetheart, even if she has entered her terrificable 2's! We adore her and are so thankful for the sunshine she is to us.

Camping.....Just the boys!!

This last weekend just the boys went camping. I being dad was thrilled to have my bestest buddy going with me to the father and sons campout. We packed all we could think of to have a good time.

We started out writing every thing down on a list that we needed but that got old and dad got too impatient as Kermit is still figuring out how to spell all of those big words. It became easier to just gather things and stack them in a "to go pile".

Kermit enjoyed making up a menu and we planned for snacks!! We made it to the sight and pitched our tent. Then it was dinner. I don't know a boy there who enjoyed their hotdog more than mine. He had catsup and mustard all over his face.

After our campfire devotional, Kermit told me it was time for bed. I asked him if he was sure he didn't want to play with the others for a while.
Nope he said, I just wanna go to the tent sit in there and talk, eat chips, drink soda, and fart.
So with a smile I asked what are we gonna talk about?
He replied, what we wanna be when we grow up! I told him I had no idea but would like to hear his.
He then told me he would be a cop and arrest me for speeding.
I asked if he would really do that to his own dad?
He just chuckled!!

I appreciated the time I got to spend with him. He said he had a great time too. Who knows how long he will enjoy his one on one time with me in the future.
